| Description | | The 942-T Series industrial control performs distance measurement using an ultrasonic beam. The 942-T Series provides the most advanced programming features available within the Honeywell line of Ultrasonic sensors. They have an M30 plastic housing, one analog output (4 mA to 20 mA or 0 V to 10 V), two switching outputs and a serial RS-232 communications link. Operating parameters are adjusted using a PC, Microsoft Windows compatible software, and the RS-232 communications connection. The Windows compatible software provides an intuitive man-machine interface with extended capabilities that allow the adjustment of parameters, such as, digital signal processing, cycle time, hysteresis, slope and others. The RS-232 communication/programming cable is not provided with the sensor but is available for purchase separately. The software is included with the cable purchase and is also available separately free of charge.
