Description
The 942-T Series industrial control performs distance measurement using an ultrasonic beam. The 942-T Series provides the most advanced programming features available within the Honeywell line of Ultrasonic sensors. They have an M30 plastic housing, one analog output (4 mA to 20 mA or 0 V to 10 V), two switching outputs and a serial RS-232 communications link. Operating parameters are adjusted using a PC, Microsoft Windows compatible software, and the RS-232 communications connection. The Windows compatible software provides an intuitive man-machine interface with extended capabilities that allow the adjustment of parameters, such as, digital signal processing, cycle time, hysteresis, slope and others.

The RS-232 communication/programming cable is not provided with the sensor but is available for purchase separately. The software is included with the cable purchase and is also available separately free of charge. The cable and programming software part number is 55000018-001.
